How does CaringTask work?

• Specify Your Needs: Connect with our Bot ( where it says "Get a Quote" ) to give us some information  with your name, contact information, tasks, date, time, and location. You will provide billing information but won't charge till caregiver arrives. 
 • System Notification: Our system contacts certified care agencies to find the best match for your needs.
 • Receive a Quote: The agency fulfilling the task will quote the cost, and we will send you a summary of the quote, including the caregiver's name and contact information.
 • Confirm and Pay: Once you confirm the service, you will be billed. The caregiver will notify our system upon arrival and completion of tasks. You'll receive a notification and be asked to rate the service.

Is there a minimum number of hours required for caregiver services?

No, there is no minimum number of hours required. We provide caregivers for as little as one hour, allowing you to get the help you need without committing to longer hours. With our Technological platform  we can offer Care On Demand with no minimum commitment.

How are caregivers assigned to tasks?

Once you submit your task details, our system immediately notifies our network of agencies. It then matches you with the caregiver offering the most competitive bid for your task. Finally, we arrange a virtual introduction so you can meet the selected caregiver online.

Can I specify flexible timing for the tasks?

No, not at this time. However, if you have flexibility in your schedule and your original date and time didn’t work out, you may want to try again with a different time slot. In general, late afternoons are easier to schedule short-term tasks, because caregivers often finish shifts nearby and are more open to coming for an hour or two.

The agency fulfilling the task will provide an exact cost quote, which will be sent to you via email. This way, you will know the precise cost before confirming the service.

Do I need to pay for the caregiver's transportation?

You don’t need to pay for the caregiver’s transportation directly. However, the agency may include an Uber fee in the quote in a transparent manner. Scheduling from a nearby location often makes it easier to secure a caregiver for a short task.

How do I pay for the services?

Once you confirm the service, we authorize the payment method you've provided. You will be billed only after the caregiver arrives. We manage the entire payment process, ensuring the agency is compensated once the task is completed.

Caregivers receive higher pay for short-duration tasks, making it worthwhile for them. This enhances the agency's ability to retain staff and opens up another revenue stream for the agency.

What if I need to change or cancel a task?

Unfortunately, all orders are final at this time. Arranging caregiver time for a short-term task is complex, and once scheduled, the agency incurs costs. As a result, we’re unable to cancel or refund these orders. However, we plan to revisit this policy soon and explore ways our technology platform can support cancellations in the future.
